1) In my car the noise seemed to be coming from the rear of the engine, not the front by the recircs and 2) I recorded the flutter with my GHK recircs. It disappears with stock recircs. By your logic, I would think that the stock recirc would be MORE susceptible to flutter not less, which is not what occurred. Once, I finish my slicktop project (tight time line so it will be a few weeks) I will remove the recircs altogether and record the noise again. Simple logic - it can't be valve noise if there are none. I will post results.
